Transfers lids from feeding tracks onto tins using two SCARA-type robots.
This High-Speed Lid Placer is equipped with a rotary star-wheel which quickly and precisely displaces tin cans between the processing stations. Two (2) vibratory bowl feeders supply the lids to two (2) cap guide tracks which receive the oriented lids in a single file. Two (2) high speed scara-type robots perform lid transfer from the presentation pedestal to the tins below. The tins with placed lids are evacuated from the machine for further processing.
