This heavy-duty, high-performance DGT Semi-Automatic Horizontal Cartoner Machine combines automated packaging efficiency with a practical, manual-load station for on-the-fly product insertion. DGT Solutions Inc. built this highly robust system with a motorized carton magazine, a rotary carton feeder, and a carton pre-break system that automatically erects blanks and places them into a continuous lug-type conveyor. As the preformed cartons travel past the operator loading zone, products can be easily introduced manually before moving to the final closing station where the flaps are automatically tucked or closed. To deliver exceptional uptime and reliability, the entire mechanical synchronization layer—including the flap prebenders and flap management actuators—is driven completely via maintenance-free driveshafts and heavy-duty bevel-type gearboxes, significantly reducing maintenance points.
