DGT Solutions labeling machines apply labels to bottles, jars, cans, pails, cartons, bags and other packaging. Available configurations include wraparound, front-and-back, top-and-bottom, pouch labeling and tamper-evident seal application.
Product guides, supporting belts and application equipment are selected around the package geometry and label position. Systems can operate independently or integrate into existing production lines, with adjustments for different formats. Selected configurations also support label printing to incorporate product identification information.
Heavy-duty, stand-alone labeling systems designed to precisely apply labels to a wide range of glass, metal, plastic and carton containers, including square, rectangular, round and oval containers, jugs, pails and tubs.
DGT Automatic Labeling Machines are designed around a traditional open-concept approach, providing robust, dependable and adaptable components while minimizing production-floor space.
The table-top processing conveyor, equipped with adjustable side guides, conveys containers into and out of the machine and through the metering station where applicable. Labeling conveyors can be configured as table-top type or optional high-friction flat belt type.
The container metering system uses synchronously adjustable side belt conveyors. Operators can quickly adjust the system using a rotary handle, allowing the high-friction side belts to be positioned relative to the center of the processing conveyor for fast changeover between container sizes.
Low-friction, width-adjustable conveyor chains center oval containers to ensure accurate positioning for front and back label application.
For front and back labeling applications, the height-adjustable top support belt holds containers rigidly between the main processing conveyor and the high-friction support belt, exposing the container sides for label application.
The prism-type container handling principle is designed for round containers and full-wrap labeling applications. Containers are clamped and rotated colinearly with the rollers and label dispensing peel-off knife, correcting container skewness and helping ensure straight label application relative to the container axis.
The heavy-duty dispenser support provides access around the label dispensing head while allowing dispenser adjustment in the X, Y and Z planes, as well as inclination adjustment.
